Welcome and thank you so much for listening. Hello, Wendy. I'm proud of you, Bill.

Proud of me. Yeah. Because of why? Because technically we're having some issues, and you are

amazing me. I mean, we're both at our own homes, obviously, because there's a shelter in place.

Stay the F. Home. That's what you got to do. And we've been having some technical issues where

your Skype all of a sudden stopped working. Mm-hmm. That was weird.

Well, I'm not, I don't know how your Skype is hooked up, but mine is hooked up to a peddling device. Apparently, I'm not peddling fast enough for my Skype to be activated. You're out of shape. I guess I am. I guess I am. I haven't played tennis in a while. I do have to say this. Your husband and I, I don't know how much of this conversation you heard, but I'm, I'm sequestered with my wife and my two daughters, and there has been absolutely no sci-fi talk in our house for five weeks. But Jimmy comes on to fix my Skype over over the phone line, and we're talking science fiction. and what a refreshing respite that was. I will let him know because I don't have any idea what you guys were.

You were both doing dialogue of some sort and I'm like, what does this have to do with the

technical end of getting this on the air? And you guys were laughing and I'm just standing there.

I hate boys.

Well, guys have the ability. We can turn almost any conversation into talk about sports,

science fiction, or girls. No matter what you're discussing, if it's not one of those three general categories, we don't know what we're talking about. So we were we were talking about doing this

show, the one you and I are engaged in right now. And somehow it became a talk about the show

Picard, which I haven't seen yet, but he's watching. And wow, I miss just talking to a guy about

science fiction for a minute or two. Maybe you and Jim should just do the podcast from now on, and maybe me and your daughters can, because you know what? I am surrounded by boys. I'm sick of it. Yeah, a lot of testosterone there at the house. Yeah, and I was talking to Dylan this morning. He watched Porkies, and I said, why? And he said, because it's just one of these movies that, you know,

everybody has talked about. It's supposed to be iconic. He goes to this website. I can't

remember the name of it, but they have suggestions on what to watch. So he watched Living

in Oblivion, which was a really great bizarre movie. Have you seen that?

I saw it when it first came out. Yes. Yeah, that's a really cool movie. That's like a Buzz Kelman and Tony Fitzpatrick Drive and Reviews movie. In fact, that's where I think I heard about it. Is Catherine Keener in that? Yes. Yes. She is, right? And it's about making a movie. It's really good.

You and I had the guy on who wrote and directed it.
