From the 1970s to the 1990s, the U.S. Defense Department conducted a psychics-spying program that

came to be known as Stargate. It was headquartered out of Fort Mead, Maryland and relied on a psychic

ability called Remote Viewing. One of the psychics buys who served at Fort Mead was Major Bill Ray.
