Burr. He's my favorite comic. I saw him when he played Madison Square Garden.

I listen to his podcast twice a week. You know, Bill Burr stuff. While others might be like, that guy was on breaking bed,

I think he has a cartoon on Netflix about his childhood. Yeah, to the latter view, that guy is a very famous revered stand-up comic.

It's because Burr is a master of digging himself out of a hole.

You know, it's something to pay attention when I play the joke. You know he'll start with the harshest, most disagreeable part of the material like right off the top. And then he'll sort of back away from it. He'll justify it, he'll like kind of half apologize for it.

So you look for like a push and pull of how he kind of goes one step forward,

or two step back of really walking the line of like what the audience may or may not

find offensive at that time. No one is really doing this at Burrs level
