Brian, we just got done running through the reasons why we believe Notre Dame is going to win a national championship on the Irish Breakdown podcast brought to by our friends over at Fandul. But we'd be remiss if we also didn't talk about the other side of that coin and talk about the potential stumbling blocks. And that is a reality that every team, not just Notre Dame, has to face when looking in the mirror. For Ohio State, yeah, you could just say you have have Julian sane and Jeremiah Smith, but you would be wrong if you were to dismiss the areas that you

have to improve and the areas that you have to address. And so with Notre Dame, that's where

we kind of start this conversation is the biggest potential stumbling blocks to Notre Dame

achieving their ultimate goal of winning a championship.

I think when I look at this football team and we start talking about how excited we are about the potential of this team and we start talking about that, like there's no doubt,

Trev, that this team has all that it takes to win a title.

But I also think that maybe in some ways we don't, we as a fan base are ignoring that this team isn't perfect. And you know, you think of the Biasa Hold on Monday and some of the to hold questions. It's like they're going to win every game by, you know, X number of points. And they're going to, and it's like, yeah, I mean, they could, but, you know,

and we're going to, we're not, we're not, we're not, we're going to pick apart everything that about Dary and Mensa, but then not act like C.J. Carr has a lot to prove this year. So like, there's all these different factors that, that you all stuff say is like, okay, these are potential stumbling blocks.

Not that we're saying they will be or they are,

but we're saying if Notre Dame doesn't win at all,

it'll be at least one or a few of the factors here.

And so that's kind of where I get into.

And the first one is, Trevor,

is looking at Notre Dame's history and looking what this schedule is without projecting massive improvements from a bunch of teams on a schedule.

Just kind of looking if they're just all, even if they're just slightly better than they were last year, the margin for error is such that

you can't afford to have the slip-ups you did last year.

Or, you know, like, again, I think you can have the slip-ups you had in 2024.

If they're 11-1, they're getting in, but your path may be harder now because you're like,

you may be like what Indiana was in 2024, where you're

11 and 1, but the only good team you played all year was Miami and they beat you because,

you know, SMU went 7 and 5 and BYU and 8 and 4 and you didn't play anybody else that was

ranked. Your second best win was Navy. You know, there's a world in which that could be true,
