Kwanis Flight 32, an Airbus A380, the world's largest passenger airplane, is taking off from Singapore's Changi International Airport to undertake a 7-hour flight to Sydney, Australia.

This is an important flight for Captain Richard Champion de Chris Begney, as his performance is being evaluated by two other captains in the cockpit with him.

After taking off, the crew hears two loud bangs, and their computer begins displaying errors.

From what the crew can tell, the number two engine on the plane is overheating and has possibly failed.

With 440 passengers on board, the cripple plane begins circling as the crew tries to address an ever-growing list of errors on their stricken aircraft.

Most people are probably more familiar with this plane. They fly on a lot more frequently.

Airbus A380, it's the huge one. It's got four engines and it's got two levels going across the whole plane.

Double decker.

Right, we've talked about the 747 before, and that has a second level on the front of the plane, but only one level on the rest of the plane.

The A380 has two levels across the entire plane. Massive, huge.

I think when this plane came out, airports had to extend their runways to make them bigger to accommodate this plane.
