A brand new Embraer Legacy 600 business jet has just departed the factory in Brazil and

is flying over the Amazon rainforest as it heads to its new home in New York state

in the United States.

On board are a captain, first officer and five passengers.

While cruising at 37,000 feet, the plane suddenly violently shakes and there is a loud

bang.

One of the passengers looks out the window and proclaims we've been hit.

The winglet on the left wing has been ripped off and jagged metal points up towards the

sky.

The crew begins emergency procedures and finds a military airbase in the jungle where

they can land.

Once on the ground, they learn the horrible news.

They've collided with a Boeing passenger jet with 152 people on board and that jet is
