Okay, today we're looking at one verse from John chapter 11.

If you remember in our last episode, Jesus had just been informed that his friend Lazarus

was ill and we are about to see his initial response.

Let's look at John 11, verse number five.

Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus.

So Mary, Martha and Lazarus were the siblings who were his friends.

So when he heard that Lazarus was ill, he stayed two days longer in the place where he

was.

Now, pause there on purpose because I want those words to sink in for you.

So Jesus, the one and only person who could do anything about this calamity that would

be fallen his three close friends.
