one of the greatest unsolved mysteries of our time. In North America,

particularly the Northwest US and Southwest Canadian wildernesses, there are

more than 60 names for Sasquatch. Many of these names can be broken down in English to mean

The Wild Man of the Woods. Back in the 1920s, Canadian journalist J. W. Burns took the name Cesquack from the Salish Indians in the

region surrounding Vancouver and the Fraser Valley and pronounced it

Sesquatch. And that name is still with us today. Written reports dating back to the 1800s
