What is it? How do I say this? Yeah, okay. I cannot stop making fun of Texas on Twitter. That's not an addiction conno, that's therapy, that's healthy.

Okay? I don't think it's healthy. I want to stop. I really do. It's one thing to make fun of that dumb steer bevo. It's another to call out a program with one national title since the Richard Nixon administration.

Oh, man, I love that. You know, I love a good presidential reference. See, whatever I've roasted Texas fans, I've gotten caught in the weeds and I say, oh, you have one title since color television. And Texas fans will sit there and say, well, color television was actually invented in 1970. So if you're...

All right, man. Is that like a George Seppier Bush? Yeah, it takes a Texas alum, right? Okay, okay. I caught a little bit of my connoing there as well, I think. Look, I need to stop because I want to spread love in this world.

And instead, whenever I tweet about this, I'm just inviting A&M and Oklahoma fans into my mentions to clown on Texas. And that's not healthy, okay? It is too easy right now at this stage of the game to make fun of Texas.

Tweeting out my favorite stat, which got a lot of play after I tweeted this out on late on Thursday night, that Texas has not had an offensive player drafted in the first round since Vince Young 2006.

Boy, I never get tired of it. That's the thing. It's addictive. You're right. I think that's the sixth time I've said that on this podcast. I need to stop singing on this podcast because it's too easy.

And the thing is, too, it's kind of like when I make fun of Utah Jazz fans, it's like they're not really a protected class. Everyone can kind of jump in on them and like, you know, they're fine people, Texas fans, but sometimes it deserves to be taken down a peg or two, you know?

I know. They do. But then they go off and they have a draft where they just, they get skunked.

Yeah, skunked in a draft. It's tough. It's hard to do, man. That's really hard to do.

When I tweeted out the list of all the schools, I had a draft pick that weren't Texas and don't you know it. I just did the same exact thing.

And I'm doing it over and over. And I need to stop. I need to weed myself off. I need to not invite that kind of evil into my life.

And I know that whenever I do it, an offense retweeted it every time. Oh, yes. They're going to. They're fully aware of it.

And I need to not fall for that pattern. It's too easy. It's cheap. It's like doing the PFF thing on Twitter where they just tweet out pictures of like five guys who will be in an offense that ranked number 28 out of 32 in the NFL.

And they're like, who's stopping this fan? Yes.

Like, I can't do that. I know the engagement's going to be off the charts with that tweet, but I can't put myself in those spots anymore. I will not do it.

So I'll continue to make fun of Bevo, but I will not make fun of Texas for anything else. Is that fair?

Yes. Well, I think too, you know, sometimes you need a little bit of constructive criticism. Like how Lakers fans kind of like bullied their old players in 2020.

It's like, we're just hoping for better for Texas. We grew up with great Texas teams. You know what I'm saying?

It's said you're Benson, Vince Young, like all these all vents of skill play. Right, Ricky Williams. And like, they're just not there anymore.

So at the end of the day, like, we would love nothing more than Texas to be back and make it to a big game and choke. But then we got to get there, man.
