| 1:05.3 | going to listen to Moses teach. So it'll be kind of nice this week. As a review and a reminder of where we're at, |
| 1:15.9 | the children of Israel have completed their 40-year journey. In the book of numbers, we learned |
| 1:22.6 | that following their wandering, which really was a punishment for not being ready to enter 40 years earlier, |
| 1:30.2 | the Israelites had traveled to the plains of Moab, which are right across the Jordan River from Canaan, |
| 1:36.8 | which is the land of their inheritance. That's where they're trying to go, Canaan. |
| 1:41.0 | Aaron had died. Aaron was serving as high priest. And so the role of high priest had been transferred now to his son, Elyzer. Moses is still serving as the prophet leader, but the Lord had told Moses that he will not enter Canaan with the rest of the Israelites. Either, remember, everyone from that generation had died during |
| 2:02.5 | the wandering except for Joshua and Caleb, the two spies that had positive reports. |
| 2:09.8 | And so as we read this week, we're going to learn about Moses's final teachings to the children |
