My name's Edward, I'm an alcoholic.

Two employers, probably a bit of a, some might call it a dry chapter, but it's really helped

me when I went through it.

The way I was taken through it was the same way I was taken through every other chapter,

which was basically a paragraph by paragraph and how it can apply to you and then my sponsors

experience with that specific chapter and a little bit of history kind of if there was

history in that.

For two employers, I had to research a little bit for this one because I knew sort of the

gist of it, but it wasn't written by Bill W, but he was probably standing over the shoulder

of the guy.

It was written by, it was a guy called Henry Parkhurst.

Now I'm no historian with the big book at all, I've been sober for two and a half years

and still learning and all sort of thing and still, you know, I'm loving it, but yeah,

I'm not the historian, some of you guys might be at a big book study, but Henry Parkhurst,

he was basically a big wig at an oil company and he kept getting drunk, kept doing it, kept

going back to the detox and stuff and finally they gave him the sack.

He's actually in the first edition of the big book, his story is the unbeliever.
