Week 7 of the Big 12 football season is wrapped up, and there were a lot of things that went as expected, and some that I did not see coming.

Let's talk about all the games, what happened, and what it means for the Big 12.

So let's start with the game to me that a lot of people questioned in my predictions

for this past week.

And maybe I'm biased saying this because, of course, I'm in the Kansas City area.

So I know a lot of KU fans.

We have a big KU audience along with all the other growing

16 big 12 fan bases. But there were many in KU land who were convinced that KU could give

Texas Tech a run for its money. And that's part of being a fan. I'm not knocking anyone who thought

that. And trust me, there were things I was wrong about this weekend, which I'll get to as well.

But I start with Texas Tech beating Kansas 4217 because tech continues to dominate.

Tech continues to prove that it's not just the best team to beat and the team to beat in the Big 12 until proven otherwise.

It is proving to be a team that I believe is going to be able to compete with the best

of the best in a college football playoff. They still have not won a game by fewer than 24 points.

They won by 25 on Saturday.

And that's because they just owned Kansas in the trenches.
