Just hopping on for a special podcast exclusive reaction to Thursday nights games in the Big 12 conference.

I wanted to hop on for a few minutes and just talk about Thursday nights games in particular

since we've got four nights out of five where we've got Big 12 football this weekend.

So the top game was Cincinnati losing to Nebraska, 20 to 17.

And there's a lot to be encouraged by if you're a Cincinnati fan. But I can't help but

continue to think about the end of the game where Cincinnati's driving down the field.

I mean, there's 30 seconds left. You're in a great spot, first and 10, Nebraska 33 yard line, and Sorsby looks towards the end

zone to try to win the game.

You're in field goal range.

You feel good about your kicking game, and you can force this thing to overtime and roll the dice.

I understand the idea of maybe going for the win there, but it was just a terrible

decision by Brendan Sorsby, who had himself a pretty good game.

Like, I didn't look back on it.

I know the stat sheet is not going to say that, okay?

I understand. The stat sheet's not going to say that when you're like, what do you throw for?

70 yards. Yeah, he did. But he had some key plays at big time moments of the game.

He was good on his feet, ran for a couple of scores, and that's where he was having more success.

So at that point, to be like, I know what I'm going to do, I'm going to win the game with my arm down the field.

Dude, you haven't done that all night.
