We've got a couple of whoppers of things being said by our president that should be a concern for everyone. We'll get to that shortly, but we want to start with the combat cornhole event on Thursday

night in the Northland at the sandbox on Berry Road. Wonderful turnout. Maybe as many as 150 people came. We had

64 people play cornhole, which was fun. They brought family members. Others came that didn't play.

We raised maybe somewhere in the area of $1,500 for friends and service of heroes. Remember,

this wasn't really designed as a charity event. We were just doing a big event for all the listeners to get together, play Cornhole, give away some prizes and thought, well, what the heck? If we're going to do this, let's see if people will pay 10 bucks to play and we'll give all the money to charity, and we did. Darrell Meiser over at Meiser Sports printed up some t-shirts and ball caps.

Some of those were sold that went to the charity, and it was all in all a very good night.

Most of the people that came and played were there to have a good time. It was a beautiful evening

until we got to like the elite eight in the final four. The wind shifted, the temperature

dropped. The cornhole got really hard.

This was around 7 o'clock.

The wind started blowing, and it became very, very difficult.

Most people that came and played were there just to have fun.

There were three or four cornhole teams that were really good.

And there was one that was way better than everyone else.

So they're not pros.

They didn't hear about this through the, you know, the Cornhole social media threads or anything like that.
