The news is definitely picking up as we get further and further away from Christmas and closer and closer to the new year. Big news over the weekend. Jimmy Carter, the 39th president of the United States, died this weekend. He was 100 years old. Sending my condolences to the Carter family, of course. He'd been in hospice for

about two years. The farmer and former governor of Georgia beat Ford in the 1976 presidential

election. He went on to serve only one term, and he was then followed by Ronald Reagan.

Here's the tricky line that everyone's trying to walk today.
