The day is well underway in the United Kingdom where President Biden is at the midpoint of his first historic foreign trip.

Earlier this morning, as they typically do on Sundays, the Bidens went to church and attended Mass.

Senior administration officials say that the official 2021 G7 communique, that's the formal document outlining the agreements made between

the leaders is expected to be released around midday today hour time. China is expected to be the main

focus of the communique. However, there

remains some disagreement amongst the leaders about how far it should go in pushing back

and on countering China's growing influence and power. The White House is calling Biden's proposed

plan to counter China build back better for the world, or B3W, which as the New York Times notes, is a play on China's

BRI, the Belt and Road Initiative. That's Beijing's massive overseas lending and investment

project. Last night, Biden and his fellow leaders enjoyed a beach barbecue, which, as you can see,

looks lovely. But before that, it was a day of sessions and meetings,

including a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron. Macron, you may recall,

had a unique relationship with our former president, which included a lot of brouhaha at

Ballyhoo and endlessly long and awkward handshakes. Yesterday, Macron's meeting with Biden was a lot more subdued.
