Tom Hartman here with you live from my home office here in Portland, Oregon. It's actually a nice

day here. It's kind of gray but I understand it's going to get better today.

It was a beautiful day yesterday. Louise and I went out and took a nice long walk

walk, walk for you for about a half hour,

which is something we all need to be doing every single day.

To keep healthy, it's good for psychological health, it's good for physical health, just

don't bump into crowds.

There was one guy who lives in our

neighborhood who was standing on the sidewalk and we were going to have to walk by

him and he started trying to chat us up and when we got about four feet away and I happen to know

that he's a big Fox News watcher you know it's like there was a house in the

neighborhood Saturday night that had a big party right these are all Fox News Watchers. Not everybody who lives here, obviously, but a couple of them. And so I started coughing. And he immediately moved back. We have figured out how to involuntarily social distance when people when we don't

want people within three feet or six feet of us just just excuse me don't worry

it's just an it's just asthma. Boom!

Off they go.

So anyway, a lot going on in the news and a lot of kind of background news that you want to know about.

We had of course the Democratic debate on CNN, Bernie and Joe Biden, and you know I'll just give you my take and kind of general thoughts on that.

I think throughout this coronavirus period we're going to be a lot less

restrictive on how we screen calls you know because basically I think more than

anything else this is a genuine crisis.

I believe that we are sliding into something that's going to resemble the Great Depression

...
