This is I think one of the more concerning things that I've seen.

This is in a column in the guardian.

Quote, the federal government, by contrast,

has not yet announced moves by the Defense Department,

the National Guard, the Army Corps of Engineers,

or the Veterans Administration, which

has a nationwide network of hospitals to help set up

field hospitals, rededicate medical facilities, contract with private companies to accelerate

manufacture of key supplies,

or otherwise manage the expected wave of critical COVID-19 cases.

Are military is not doing anything?

I mean, you recall a week ago, Maryland, a regular listener to our program,

one named Maryland, who I believe is in Wisconsin, called in and said that her son is over

in Afghanistan and this high fever dry cough cold is ripping through the

American military base there and I connected her to Mark Pocan and to Rokana and

Pocan's people and he talked with her or his people talked with her and in fact he

went out and he got interviewed in the news.

And I think it was on Friday of last week
