This is the part two of a talk that I gave. I talked about the fake left and the history of CIA astroturfing,

the CIA Cultural Cold War, and how the U.S.

National Security State created a whole massive infrastructure with billions of dollars from

billionaire oligarch capitalists on Wall Street in order to create to astroturf these fake

left groups that were, yes, maybe anti-racist and feminist and supported LGBTQ rights,

often in a superficial way, but at the same time supported imperialism and were deeply anti-communist

and increasingly supported neoliberal economics. So go back to part one to understand a lot of

that history. Part two here is the Q&A, but it was a very

productive Q&A, and I think people would like listening to it. I talk about a lot of the anti-China

propaganda. I respond to some of those talking points, because in the new Cold War, the Cold War 2.0, right?

The fake left has become very prominent, and has played a key role.

Just as in the first Cold War, the fake left astroturfed by the Congress for Cultural

Freedom and the CIA and these other institutions, that fake left played a very important

role in supporting U.S. imperialist

aggression against Korea, Vietnam, and Southeast Asia, against the Soviet Union, supporting

the covert war in Afghanistan, supporting operations against Cuba, supporting coups against

communists and socialist forces around the global south from Indonesia

to the Congo to Central America and Nicaragua and El Salvador. There's so many examples.

And the fake left, the useful idiots, the Cold War left, played a role in helping to justify

that in the first Cold War. and similarly in the new Cold War,

they're going to play another key role. And then, of course, a lot of people have been talking
