0:07.6	And that excites me to no end. Honestly, the year that we just spent in the Book of Mormon was incredible.
0:13.6	And I hope that you're excited to make this transition now. Fast forward 1,400 years, and fly from Camammora back to Cymorah, where we're going
0:22.8	to meet Joseph Smith, the coming forth of the book of Mormon, the revelations that begin
0:26.9	to flow in his direction that are now recorded in the pages of the Doctrine and Covenants.
0:30.9	I know that many of you, or at least some of you, are concerned about this year of Scripture

0:37.0	For you, the Doctor in Covenants
0:38.2	is the least exciting book of scripture. I get that. My grandma, as saintly as she was,
0:45.8	would always complain about the Doctor in Covenants and just dismiss it with a wave of the hand
0:49.6	and say, ah, it's just a book of rules, a book of rules. Well, it is so much more than a book of rules,
0:55.7	as I hope we will come to discover and appreciate this year.
0:59.7	Honestly, people will often ask me, as a teacher,
1:03.4	what's your favorite thing to teach?
1:05.0	And to me, that's like choosing between your children.
1:07.3	For me, my favorite book of scripture
1:09.2	is whichever one I happen to be studying and teaching at the time.
1:11.6	So guess what? My favorite just shifted from the Book of Mormon to the Doctor in Covenants,
1:16.6	and I couldn't be happier about what lies ahead of us.
1:20.6	Now, what lies ahead is going to relate somewhat to what lies behind.
