All right, welcome to season two of Sons of Patriarchy.

For those who've been following along, our journey for the past eight or so months, nine

months, ten months, whenever this episode is out, the first season was focused more particularly on Doug Wilson, the CRC, the rise of some of these movements, the rise of Christian nationalism, the classical school education system, home schooling education system, particularly of Wilson's brand. And then everything that comes around with, the politics, the gender ideas of hyper

patriarchalism, of a bunch more stuff. And we've seen a lot of the fruits even within the last

few months of that. The season two builds off of it and it goes a little bit broader. Doesn't

lose the focus to season one, but it goes broader into how have these ideas affected

the evangelical landscape as a whole, as well as how do these matters work out practically

in the church.

And so we were less church focused than season one.

You can say season two is a little bit more focused on the church, how these ideas play

out in the church.
