Well, it is time for another Bible talk team.

Every month, I get some girlfriends around the table, and I want you to picture it like this,

where one brings a flame, the other brings her flame, I'm bringing my flame, and we put our

flames together, and you've got a holy bonfire. And the reason I want you to have that picture, in fact, that's the icon on our text line is our little text group, the Bible talk

team, is a flame because it's such a picture fanning the flame within us. In fact, you could form

your own Bible talk team. I want you to picture some of the most godly people you know. Get them

together once a month and just circle around and say, what is God talking to you about and see what happens to your faith? And our prayer is always,

when we get this Bible talk team together, you feel your own flame fanned within you,

your faith and courage. And I just not going to lie to you. It's firepower when I get these

women together. Every month we get Andy Andrews, Irene Rollins,

and Carolyn Haas together. Irene is out today, attending to a college student child of hers,

but we've got Carolyn and we've got Andy. And some of the things we're going to talk about today

are these, how to overcome fear, the power of God's promises, and how and why we need to strengthen ourselves in the Lord.

And we'll get them on in just a moment, a quick announcement.
