thank you, Lord. Thank you that we can gather in this place

that you have provided for us, Lord, that you have kept for us,

Lord, that you have protected.

Thank you that we can come here, Lord, and hear your word.

Sundays are sometimes a day of reflection, Lord, and as we reflect on the week, here this morning,

Lord, would you quiet those thoughts and direct our attention to you, Lord, so that we would not miss what it is that you have

for us this morning, Lord. So bless this time, bless the word, Lord. Be with Pastor J.D.

Amen. And amen. Good morning. Welcome. You can be seated. I want to welcome

those of you that are joining us online as well. We're so glad that you are. This is our first

service on Sunday mornings. We have two. It's the weekly Bible prophecy update that we do

and have done for many years. And then second service is the sermon.

It's a verse by verse study through the Word of God. We're currently in 2 Peter. And last week,

we finished chapter one. Today will commence with chapter two. And we're going to look at how it is that we can be on guard

against false teachers and in so doing not let them get to us and I mean that in

more ways than one so you might want to make a note of it.
