the very first one. She has been an advocate in a fight against HIV and AIDS for as long as I've

known her. And she was joined by LaJoyce Brookshire, who brought her in, their neighbors and friends and comrades in this fight for people's health. And she's such a warrior. World Days Day was on Sunday. I think it was December 1st. December 1st. And I know someone dear to me, Haddaia Broadbent, who I work with. Oh, she's such a beautiful. Let me tell you how beautiful this young lady is. I've known her since she was eight years old, going to do a book with her, flew out to Vegas where she lived with her mom and spent two weeks out there talking to her about her book. And she was like, I don't really want to do a book. I was like, well, we contracted. We contracted to do a book. And she was like, yeah, I don't really want to do it. And I said, you know what? Then I can't, I'm not going to work. I'm not going to do this. So I went to the publisher and I said, I'm not, this young lady born with HIV AIDS, born into this world, didn't ask for this disease. She does not want this project to go forward. Y'all can do what you want to me. I'm not doing it. But we've kept in touch

over the years. And she's remarkable. She's been a remarkable little advocate. She's something else.

She wasn't supposed to live that long in the early days when she, so tell us about how she's able to

be here. Yes. Nearly 40. Yes. She's on her medication.

She's been very, very careful and she's critically taking care of herself as far as her food

and her diet and her medication is concerned.

And she's got a very unique kind of spirit.

She's a very, she's very giving, very loving, and she's not angry at anybody.

You know, she's just like, this is, this was the lot that I was given.
