There's an old story about a man who was on his way home one day and came across a butterfly cocoon.

Yes, I know, technically it's called a chrysalis, not a cocoon, but it's just a lot easier to say, so stick with me.

He paused to admire the cocoon, and much to his surprise, he noticed that the butterfly

inside was trying to hatch.

Well, I'll never see anything like this ever again, he said to himself.

So he waited, watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body

through the tiny hole. But all at once,

he said. So he took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bits of the cocoon.

And with the greatest of ease, the butterfly emerged from the cocoon and quickly fell to the ground.
