I do production and sound design work for euphemette.

You probably recognize my name from the end credits of a lot of euphabit episodes.

Like you, I am naturally drawn to stories of individual experiences with the other,

and some of my own strange encounters are the stepping stones that have led to my work with

Euphimet and helping others share their experiences. So I thought in honor of the launch of our new series,

I would sort of break the fourth wall

and share a few of my own experiences with the unknown.

My parents split up when I was pretty young.

I think I was four or five.

My younger brother and I would spend every weekend with my dad.

That usually consisted of a trip to the video store.

They had a deal at our local place, which was called Quality Video. It was five movies for five days, for five dollars.

We would get an array of VHS tapes, a couple comedies, a couple actions, and of course, a few horror films.

My mother was not a huge fan of this because during the week we would have nightmares

and get scared of things like the leprechaun or Chucky. And so this led to my dad kind of giving us a horror

movie practical effects class and showing us behind the veil of course that

interest led to more interactive terror like resident evil I mean my brother
