0:41.8 | if I may. What sort of things are you hearing from your clients at this point in the process? |
0:47.1 | Well, you're right. Pharmaceutical industry is very heavily regulated and there are long lead times in production quite often for the products. So we saw our clients move quite early |
0:52.8 | to hedge risk in their operating model, |
0:57.0 | making sure they had the licenses in place within the EU, moving some roles, |
1:02.0 | and in some cases changing their operating models. |
1:04.0 | So they've made a lot of changes already. |
1:07.0 | That said, no deal wasn't necessarily seen as the most likely scenario. |
1:11.6 | So we're seeing focus again on that, a lot of the contingency planning around supply chain and so on and deeper analysis. |
1:20.6 | And we're seeing engagement, so more engagement with both customers and suppliers and seeing how they can work together to plan for all eventualities. |
1:31.3 | And we're also seeing a focus on lobbying. |
1:36.3 | So there was a bit of disappointment in the industry that Farmer didn't achieve a higher profile in the political declaration. |
1:43.3 | So we know that Fararma companies are very, |
1:46.5 | pharma and life science companies are very active in terms of talking to the industry associations |
1:50.5 | and working with government to make sure they're represented in the future deal. |
1:55.3 | Okay. So against that backdrop of general readiness, |
1:58.5 | and I definitely recognise what you've just said there, |
2:01.7 | what does that mean that you're advising clients to focus on at this point, |
