today. We're going to start a very challenging space emotionally. I never like kicking off a podcast,

a show, a conversation with negative news, but this news just so happens to be directly tied to what

it is that we're going to be talking about today. There are some early news reports that indicate

that not one, but two, black males, one, a college student and one, the age of which I'm not quite sure, were lynched at a nearby community close to Delta University in Mississippi.

awareness. And then we'll hear another clip that goes right into this second story as well. Take a

listen. In this newscast with breaking news, a tragic discovery this morning at Delta State

University. University officials say a body was found on campus early this morning. Staff

members discover the individual and immediately notified

campus police and local authorities who are now investigating in a response. The school cancel all

classes and centennial events scheduled for the day. In a statement, Delta State shared condolences

to the family and friends impacted, saying the community is deeply saddened by the law.

We have some serious news right now. In the past 24 hours, two men have been found dead hanging from a tree in Mississippi.

And the two cases do not have an explicit connection to one another, but the timing is very concerning.

I want to talk about both cases separately.

The first at Delta State University, where a 21-year-old Trey Reed, who was from Grenada,

was discovered Monday morning. He was found, quote, hanging from a tree on campus. Authorities

quickly said that they ruled out foul play, but an investigation remains ongoing.

Then we found out that another man in Vicksburg, Mississippi, was found also hanging from a tree.

That man's name is Corey Zucatus. He's a resident of Brandon, Mississippi. He was found, quote,
