Welcome back to the Poor Pearls Almanac. I'm your host, Andy, and today we're going to chat a little bit further about last week's

0:21.5

episode and the utilization of Bakashi at scale.

0:24.7

Our guest today, Brandon Rust, is a big name in the growing cannabis industry.

0:29.6

Like a lot of people in cannabis, Brandon's background involves a lot of hands-on education,

0:34.5

which has been instrumental in the development for the cannabis industry

0:38.1

to both grow and quickly adapt to a high-tax environment while also finding ways to move

1:09.5

Brennan's products for Bakashi Earthworks in the show's

1:12.4

notes, and I hope you all enjoy this unique conversation that ties together a lot of seemingly

1:17.4

disparate ways to tackle growing food.

1:24.7

Brandon, thanks so much for coming on. Can you introduce yourself for our audience?

1:28.8

Sure. For those of you who aren't familiar with me, my name is Brandon Rust. I have been

1:33.9

cultivating cannabis for over 20 years. I specialize in organic agriculture, especially the

1:42.0

agronomy and microbiology side for cannabis.

1:46.3

I own a consulting company, which is Earthworks Agriculture, and I also own Bokashi Earthworks.

1:52.7

And I manufacture microbial consortiums for agriculture.

1:58.4

I sell carbon-based humate fertilizer that was developed by NASA Agricultural Technologies.
