Summary

In the first part of this Feature, Trey Lockerbie, Co-Founder & CEO of Better Booch, shares the story of how his wife and himself were feeling the toll of constantly touring as backup musicians. They knew that they didn't want to still be touring as they got older so they looked for a way to make extra cash and selling Kombucha at a Farmer's market sounded like a great idea. They didn't realize that it would be so much work comprising of lots of mistakes along the way but what made up for it was how they felt about brewing what they considered to be the best Kombucha on the market with better ingredients and brewing process. They were excited that it taste great but was also good for you. Here's their story,

In part one, Trey discusses: What is Better Booch, Why their brewing process and ingredients are different than other Kombucha drinks; How their staff consists of Brewers and scientist, Why true Kombucha stays cold; Why they use clean ingredients; What role Trey's sister played in introducing him to Kombucha; Their life as musicians; Remembering the first bottle sold; Why zero to 1 is the biggest step; Advice for entrepreneurs; The similarities between Kombucha and songwriting;  And more.
