So I really been pondering on excellence versus

being mediocre

I don't like being mediocre. I don't like anything that is mediocre and to stand

I'm somebody that loves growth. You know, I love doing my best. You know, I love being proud of self

But every day is not gonna be a day where we outdo ourselves, right?

Last week we made a perform better than this week

Doesn't mean this week we're not as good anymore

Doesn't mean this week you've lost touch with yourself

Or does it mean last year you were a better version of yourself than this year?

I think growth is a lot like a sound wave. I'm sure we've all seen soundways before

They're exactly that they're waves they're up and down

But they flow

They're in motion

They have curvatures to understand

And I think our growth I think our efforts is a lot like that

You know, we beat ourselves up and we don't outdo ourselves every single time

I think that's the ego

Now I don't like to demonize the ego. I think it can be a good thing as well

Actually, to be honest, I love my ego in many ways

Or maybe that's my ego loving my ego

But I know we all strive for excellence but we don't feel excellence every single day

We strive to do our best but sometimes we fall short
