Browns from the dog days of training camp through the three preseason games and wrapping

up everything in August when the team cuts the roster to its initial 53 for the 24th

consecutive year.

The Browns open training camp here in Berea at the cross country mortgage campus practice

could be considered a loose term because under the new collective bargaining agreement

in place, these next few days are considered acclimation periods.

The Browns first practice today was a walkthrough and conditioning practice and had to move

indoors due to rain and lightning.

Now for your participation report, the following guys did not practice today due to injury.

White receiver David Bell with a foot, tackle Jack Conklin with a knee, defensive tackle

Sheldon Day with a back linebacker Anthony Walker Jr. with a groin, cornerback Denzel

warded with a foot and White receiver Javan Wims with an illness.

While there wasn't much on the field, there was plenty of activity during media availability

as head coach Kevin Stofansky, all pro defensive and miles Garrett, cornerback, reg new

some the second and pro ball running back Nick Chubb addressed the media before practice.
