I'm Jason Gibbs and one of the lucky ones who got inside before today's storm blew

through the cross country mortgage campus.

Here's hoping if you were here today, you got to your car on time and more importantly,

got home safely.

Day 8 of training camp is in the books and the Browns were able to get in all, but

20 minutes outside before the weather forced them into the field house for the final

periods of the day, full pads today for the Brown and Orange in past episodes.

I mentioned how good the Browns running back room has looked and especially but not surprisingly,

how good Nick Chubb has looked, but it just starts there.

Kareem Hunt has looked great.

The Ernest Johnson, great John Kelly junior, great, rookie Jerome Ford, great.

It does not matter who the Browns put in the backfield these days.

They are having big time success.

It's become a fascinating room to watch.

All pro guard Joel Betonio had the vet day off drew Forbes took the reps at left guard

along with Blake.

Hence, rookie wide receiver Michael Woods, who's been talked about a lot this training

camp period, missed practice today with a hamstring injury suffered on Wednesday and

centred Nick Harris left practice after he was poked in the eye, but he will be okay.

Ethan Posick replaced Harris at center.

None of the currently injured players returned, but Coach Kevin Stinfinski did say David

Bell and Anthony Schwartz are close.
