This is Dr. Mercola helping you take control of your health and today we are honored to

be joined by Dr. Dietrich Klinghart who is a long time mentor of mine and helped me

understand some of the basics of natural medicine many decades ago so welcome and thank you

for joining us.

It's an honor to be here.

So for those who don't know who you are maybe you can give a brief history of your training

and I won't go with this.

All right well I went to medical school in Germany I'm actually born in Berlin I'm a

real Berliner and then went to medical school and after medical school for three years I

worked on the thesis which at the time I wasn't sure but it actually became very important

because the subject was how the autonomic nervous system communicates with the immune system.

At the time nobody wanted to take that on and so I'm going to award for it and so you

know when other people do residency I did a residency in surgery but only for two years

and then more like eight years or something.
