Eddie, I think it's worth the sounder one more time.

Let's hit the breaking news sounder, even though it's been out there for about 15 minutes.

The Colts are benching Anthony Richardson, making a change at quarterback for Joe Flacco.

He will be under center for Sunday nights matchup in Minnesota, that from multiple reports,

including Ian Rapapur and Diana Rusini.

Adam Schaefter adding, the coaches met this morning and made the seismic organizational decision

to change quarterbacks.

I don't want to be hyperbolic, but this has the potential to have a cataclysmic impact on so many different people involved.

At least it should if the Colts take football operations seriously.

First off, unless, and I'll give the caveat out of the gate, unless Shane Steichen or Chris Ballard or even Jim

Ursay come out in the next day and a half and say publicly that this is punishment

for him tapping out of that game. If they come out and say that, that they are disciplining

Anthony Richardson to the point

of a benching because of him saying, I'm tired and I need out of the game, then I'm willing

to pump the brakes for a second on that.

Because that is what you want from an accountability standpoint out of your organization.

I've not heard that yet.
