The biggest topic of discussion in the first segment was Anthony Richardson’s comment about being tired and having to pull himself out of the game yesterday.

(24:42-35:57) – Jake and Jimmy continue the Anthony Richardson conversation by focusing their conversation on Shane Steichen. They start to wonder if Chris Ballard is forcing Steichen’s hand when it comes to starting Richardson instead of letting Steichen win games with Joe Flacco.

(1:12:03-1:26:25) – Former NBA executive Dan Purcell joins Jimmy Cook on Query & Company to explain what he has seen so far from the Indiana Pacers, believes that Jarace Walker can provide some defensive flexibility for the Pacers compared to some other players, and then weighs in on the breaking news mid-conversation that the Colts are benching Anthony Richardson for Joe Flacco.

He assesses Tyrese Haliburton’s performance last night compared to the previous three games, believes that the Pacers need to make a consolidation move to open minutes for Jarace Walker or Bennedict Mathurin, and cites the preseason as where some of the issues started for the Pacers.
