Now today is an especially great best of because my guest is the brilliant Patton Oswald.

And Patton is one of the few stand-ups out there

who does political humor every so often.

But during our conversation,

he gave his explanation of why it's hard to do comedy about Trump.

This was his analogy.

Trump is a 18-wheeler full of monkeys on PCP and it crashes into a train full of diarrhea.

And now there's diarrhea covered monkeys on PCP running around.

Of what was so frustrating for comedians to hear like yeah what a

gold mine this guy is now it's this one joke I mean I also said that it's impossible to

keep up with him because he it's my analogy was he's a crazy guy on the sidewalk and he's just taking a dump and then you turn to your friends and you have this amazing joke about the guy taking the dump and by the time he turned to them they're like oh he

turned back around he made the took his poo and made a pinata out of it he has it on his head and you're like

oh I don't have a material like there's no way to keep up with him there's no shelf life
