is actually a great one and not one of our usual stinkers because it's a best of. And during Christmas time and New Year's, Peter and I take a break here at the podcast

and run a couple of best-ofs for you.

And this one is maybe the best of the best of.

And this time, I mean that because it's my conversation with Jim Gaffigan,

who, for my money, is one of the great stand-ups

of our era.

And Jim is sort of notorious for being a clean act that the whole family can go to and love.

He's not political.

He doesn't do political stuff.

So he attracts audiences in very red areas of the country and very blue areas without working blue or red.

But in 2020, he just had to speak out about Donald Trump.

And we talk about that.

He may have lost some fans, but it didn't hurt him at all.

He's got a monster tour coming up this winter and spring.

That includes, of course, New York City and Portland, Oregon,

but also Pensacola, Florida, and Sugarland, Texas, and, let's see, Thackersville, Oklahoma.

I don't know where that is.

But Jim Gaffigan is loved all over this country.
