Hey, everybody. Welcome to Dennis and Julie.

Julie Hartman here, of course, still without Dennis and even this week without Sean McConnell, who's been the regular substitute for Dennis. As you can tell, by my hat, it is Christmas week. And we are doing a best of for this episode of Dennis and Julie, given the days off that we have for Christmas

Eve and Christmas, as well as other conflicts with our filming schedules.

We will not be having a Sean and Julie this week, as I said, we will be having a best of.

But rest assured that Sean will be coming back with pleasure, I am sure, as I'm looking

at him right now, to get a con for him with pleasure, and he's just cracking up and staring at me.

He will come back with pleasure to substitute for Dennis and Julie.

Now, of course, as always, I know many of you want an update on Dennis.

And I saw him very recently, and I said, is there anything that you would like to say to Dennis and Julie

listeners? And he mouthed, I miss them. And that was very sweet. Sean is looking, oh,

like he didn't understand what we were saying. You know, it is very hard sometimes to translate

for Dennis. As we have talked about, as Marissa Stry and David Prager have said on

Prager, you, Dennis is breathing through a trache. And so he has been unable to speak for the past few

weeks. And so we communicate with him through a word chart or rather actually a letter chart. We will

point to different letters and he'll shake his head,

he'll nod or he'll go like this. And we also communicate by his mouthing words. And Sean,

it just made me want to tell you when Sean didn't know what I was saying that it is so difficult

sometimes to discern what Dennis is saying

when he's mouthing it. And God bless that man. He is so patient. Can you imagine how

frustrating it must be for anybody, let alone someone who is as communicative as Dennis to not

be easily understood? And yet, even when we have to ask him to

repeat himself, even when we have to go to the letter chart, he is so gracious in kind. And so that's
