We're talking about what's really been a hot topic of conversation so far in this offseason.

And the creation of expanding the college football playoff from 12 teams and doubling the sides of the field and going to 24 teams.

Recently, well, at its origin, Tony Petiti kind of started this argument.

And Greg Sanky, the commissioner of the SEC, was kind of one that held it off at bay.

But recently it started to pick up some traction.

And Notre Dame's athletic director, Pete Bovacua, has now kind of fallen in line to support the 24 team model.

And that was definitely an interesting point of view to take.

And I don't want to speak for you,

but it definitely disappointed me to hear that Notre Dame fell in line with this.

Yeah, I don't like this at all, Trev.

I think I understand why he did it, but I don't like it.

And I think there's twofold reasons to it.

Number one is my initial frustration is since we don't know yet, what, if any, concessions the ACC is made to Notre Dame after spending over a month, basically rallying against Nournames playoff resume,

never bringing up Alabama, never bringing up Oklahoma, but only focusing on Notre Dame.

Pete Vaca goes out and says, you know, they've done, you know, permanent damage and all this.

And now it's all, you know, Kumbaya, warm and fuzzies.

And we don't know what changed.

We assume something did, but we don't know.

Now I believe that a big reason why you're seeing Pete Babacqua push for 2014

playoff is to appease the ACC.

M.O. points, why are you trying to appease the ACCC? Why are you trying to play, you know, the, I'm looking out for the sport as a whole, which number one, I don't think that's what's going on here.
