All right, Brian, and part three today's show here on the Irish Breakdown podcast, brought to by our friends over at Fandu.

We're going to be talking about defensive breakouts.

And this is something that we're going to continue to do throughout the offseason.

We're going to talk about, obviously, the offense, and we're going to keep going down the line here.

But quick preface before we kind of dive into who these

breakouts are, kind of wanted to talk about what the definition of a breakout is.

Because we've talked on multiple times on the show that there's different levels to

breakouts. And you know, first level is kind of you're going from not playing a whole lot to now

you're a key part of the rotation. Second level of a breakout, you go from like a key rotational piece to, hey, now you're in the starting lineup. You're trotting out there with the first 11 to take the field. Yeah, or you're in a rotation where you're making more of an impact at a position where it's more of a natural rotation where, you know, you could still be the number two detackle, but like you're the guy that's making all the plays, you know, or you're producing in a much higher level.

Right.

And then finally, the last breakout is kind of going from, you know, you're a starter. You had a solid first year of a breakout, and then the next year you kind of elevate your game, and now you take it to stardom. You're a It was a bona fide dude in the lineup. So those are kind of the three breakouts that we're talking about here just to give you guys a window in. Because there's going to be some names that you guys are here. It's like, well, that guy is he's already broken out. Like what more? So different levels. Yeah. And that's what makes it fun to have a conversation.

I think last year was difficult.

This year's even more difficult to pick breakouts for two reasons.

And it really kind of goes in two different directions.

One is it's difficult because there's so many potential players that could break out.

The other reason it's difficult is because they're so talented in the starting lineup that I want to predict a breakout from a really talented younger player, but I'm like, but I don't know how he's going to get on the field. So it does make it a challenge. And there's a couple young DBs that I'm like, dude, I want to have him as one of my top guys.

But it's just like, I don't know how much he's going to play compared to last year either. So that adds to it. So what we're going to do is we're going to kind of snake this a little bit like we normally do. Trevor and I are going to go down our list. And we're going to give our breakout players. We're going to connect one and one. So he's going to give one.
