Love is listening, observing, validating and empathizing.

So, if you can do those four things, not necessarily in that order, but it's the way it works with the spelling of the word, that that is love, right?

So, if you can listen to your partner when you hear what they're saying, if you can observe, notice how they're feeling.

You can validate their feelings, even if you don't agree with them.

And if you can empathize with their feelings.

Again, you don't have to agree with their feelings, but you can say, I can understand why you feel this way.

Like, it makes sense that you feel this way.
