0:46.7	And today we're going to talk about where and how we fight for care under a regime that is
0:53.4	escalating its assault on the most vulnerable. Together, we're
0:56.9	going to ask what kind of politic this moment demands. We'll discuss resistance and survival
1:02.2	under health fascism and health capitalism, and we'll look towards the horizon of all care for all
1:08.4	people. So I'm going to start by reading the announcements on COVID and
1:13.5	community safety, and then I'll introduce the speakers, and we'll begin. At the Socialism Conference,
1:19.0	all participants play a role in keeping one another safe and making sure that folks feel
1:23.3	supported and comfortable over the conference weekend. Toward that end, I'm sharing a few
1:27.7	important reminders. First, remember that conference attendees are required to wear N95
1:32.7	or KN95 masks while indoors in conference spaces. Speakers in the session will remain
1:38.5	masks throughout the session even when speaking, and audience members are also required to wear
1:44.0	masks even when asking questions
1:45.9	or making comments. So thank you all for masking and keeping each other safe. And huge thanks
