Summary

It is unamaginable losing a family member in an explosion - let alone three family members - nut in November 2018, that is exactly what Leicester Crown Court heard had happened back in February of that year - as the result of deliberate actions, and three men - Aram Kurd, Hawekar Hassan, and Arkan Ali - faced charges for this. The Crown painted a very clear cut, strong case against the three - but what did they have to say for themselves in the witness box?

2:13.5	of the evening of Sunday February 25th, 2018, in the city of Leicester.
2:19.8	We're at 7.01pm, an explosion completely destroyed the Polish Zabka shop,
2:26.5	located at the city's 253 Hinkley Road, and the two-floor flat that was above it,
2:33.4	resulting sadly in the deaths of five people.
2:36.9	48-year-old Mary Ragobier, her 17-year-old sons, Shane and Sean,
2:43.8	Shane's 18-year-old girlfriend, Leah Rieck, who were all upstairs in the flat at the time,
2:49.8	and 22-year-old Victoria of Leva,
2:53.2	who was in the Zabka shop itself at the time of the blast.
