Very excited to bring you this week's episode because we're diving deep.

One of the rookies that's flying under the radar on this Patriots 53 man roster.

And that, of course, is what we do here on the next Pat's podcast is we're talking about

the young guys.

We're talking about what's coming next for this organization and which pieces might be

building the foundation of what is next for this organization.

And so the rookie we're talking about today is not the undrafted rookie that we've

been talking about all summer. Efton Chisholm, if you want to go back into the next Pats

room as an undrafted guy.

There's another undrafted rookie on this 53-man roster.

Maybe you've heard of him.

Maybe you haven't.

But Elijah Ponder is going to get our focus in this week's next Pat's episode. He was kind

enough to give us some time at his locker earlier this week, going out to practice for the

first time as a member of an NFL active 53 man roster. He's at an excellent summer, clearly,

actually made the roster over a draft pick. The Patriots spent a fifth round pick on LSU's Braden Swinson, pass rusher, played for

the Tigers alongside or opposite from, Will Campbell, and yet it's Ponder who makes the team,
