surviving my biggest case. This is the story of how the real

Walter White from the hit TV show Breaking Bad was caught. Back in 1984 authorities arrested

Darrell Calvin Smith. He was arrested along with his wife Denise in Las Vegas.

Interestingly he was a 1978 graduate of the Emory School of Medicine and also of Emory's

Oxford College back in 1973. He was using his home as a drug laboratory to turn out millions and millions of dollars worth of amphetamines.

And here to tell us about how we survive this big case, our best guest.

Steve Peterson was a senior special agent of the United States Department of Justice, the

Drug Enforcement Administration,

otherwise known as the DEA for nearly three decades, and at the time of his

retirement was the most senior DEA street agent in the world.

He's now a South Carolina private investigator

working for Stephen Smith's family.

He had done that.

He was just featured in the Netflix series about the Murdoch murders.
