Hello, hello, hello, and welcome to this Guardian Live with me, Owen Jones, not for many of us.

Tonight is a bit like watching The Beatles Live.

Bernie Sanders and, crucially, the movement around him, not me, us, of course, as his slogan goes, transformed US politics.

Back in 2016, a cozy corporate consensus was blown apart.

It was supposed to be a coronation for the most powerful political family in the United States.

But a generation of younger people had a slightly different idea.

They had been raised to believe that there was no alternative to free market capitalism.

But then they heard another message that had different United States.

One run in the interest of the people not elites could be built.

The impact of that movement will be felt for decades to come.

And I firmly believe that its greatest achievements are still to come.

Now, he's here to talk about his new book. It's OK to be angry about capitalism.
