Summary

Reflecting on the 2019 Berlin Marathon, where I clocked a 10-minute personal best to run 3:05:06. No sub-three hour marathon but I’ll get it next time. I'm really happy with that race. The best part about the marathon is that there’s always another chance to dance and I like dancing. 11-minute personal best by Ryan to run 3:05:56. Yosef clocked a 19-minute personal best for 3:10:54. Onto the next one! Thanks to everyone for their support and for following us on this journey. Back to your regularly scheduled programming soon! The Berlin Boys are now in Paris. We've had a couple days to relax and to gather our thoughts on what ended up being a pretty good day.

0:12.0

How are you guys feeling? I would say I'm finally feeling a little

0:16.7

bit rebounded. You know the day took a lot out of me for those that didn't see in pictures and whatnot.

0:26.0

There was a torrential downpour.

0:29.0

Temps were in the low 50s.

0:31.0

So it was not terrible to run a marathon in but afterwards I was

0:36.6

struggling a bit I would say. Yeah the after portion I would not go on that was rough.

0:42.4

I usually run if it's that cool with gloves and hand warmers and it's okay and manageable while we're running.

0:50.4

But the second the running stops and you're just standing there I started to

0:55.3

freeze we could barely function after the finish line I saw Ryan and we were just

1:01.0

where is the poncho where is the next place we're going we couldn't really

1:05.9

do much more than that at the moment so to quickly recap

1:10.8

Ryan and I fell short of our sub three goal, but we both clocked 11 and 10 minute personal

1:17.8

best respectively.

1:19.1

So Ryan ended up running 3.0556 and I ended up running 3.05 56 and I ended up running 3.06.04, 8 seconds behind Ryan and I actually

1:32.0

could see you from the finish in the final 200

1:35.0

meters that's when I kind of picked it up a little bit to try and catch you.

1:39.0

Crossing the finish line together would have been the greatest thing in the world but we had a cool

1:44.6

moment afterwards and then Joseph ran how big of a PR was it?

1:48.1

The 19 minutes and 8 seconds PR. So you are now down to 3.10.54. There you go and this is the funniest

1:58.0

part about this is that we were talking a little bit after the race is that Ryan can call himself a

2:05.0

three-o-five guy. I have to call myself a three-o-six guy even though we're
