This is the forming of the new government underneath the leadership of Friedrich Merritt's leader of the CDU-CSU. The election was recent,

but it's taken weeks to form a coalition because the way the numbers come out in the Bundestag,

as Judy has taught me,

is that the social Democrats represent the votes needed to form a majority, along with the

CDU. The majority is now formed. It overwhelmingly presents a case for leadership, and the question now is what is to be done.
