As someone from Berlin can watch it very closely, it's difficult on this side of the Atlantic,

given all the excitement of the Washington administration ever since Donald Trump started in late January.

But we turn to Ukraine, which is a story that cannot be solved by ignoring it.

I note that Mr. Zelensky recently started talking about the Coalition of the Willing,

which I presume is a workaround for the fact that the U.S. participation in NATO is in doubt.

But Germany must participate if there's to be a coalition of the willing.

And we did not mention Herr Martz's opinion of the war fighting, of the negotiation if it

exists, of the concessions that Russia is demanding if there is to be a negotiation that goes forward.
